rough week

its just been a long week.  it seemed like everyday was hard and everyday sucked.  thats just being honest.  but really,  it didn’t always suck.  it just feels like it took forever to get through 5 days!  thank God for weekends.  but even then its not like theres a break.  oh well, i ‘d rather do this stuff.

looked up stuff on australia today.  Theres a place 4 hours away from sydney called New Wales.  You can snowboard there!!!  im so excited for that!!!  haha, no joke i really like snowboarding. i wanna go alot more than once a year.  and now that i’ll be out of highschool and going to a college (hillsong) that has a mountain 4 hours away… im going snowboarding.  and then i wonder if the youth group at the hillsong church goes snowboarding every year?  that’d be cool. if not, im totally bringing that up!  That’d be so sweet!!  oh man, im excited for hillsong college and stuff.  i was thinking today… what am i gonna do on that 15 hour plane ride over there?  I mean, theres prolly movies and i’ll have a better phone by then.. plus my Super Cool Black MacBook.  (notice i capilalized the letters there.  thats how cool it is).  but seriously, its like 15 hours!!! and what about delys????  what if im on that place for a full day?  that would suck!! haha, that wont happen though.  :)  see? i already feel better.  cause i know that theres no school tomorrow.  down with school.  pre-calc sucks.  Saten likes pre-calc.  And we dont wanna be like Saten.  so i dont like pre calc.

and english 102…  that class just freakin sucks.  Even Saten hates that class!

school

I’m not liking the whole “school” thing.  To be honest it just depresses me.  I’m not very ‘good’ at highschool.  Maybe thats a bad confession, but oh well…  To say i have “senoritis” is an understatement for me.  I’ve completly lost motivation.  I have so much i wanna do with my life.  And life is short enough as it is.  Why the heck do i have to keep going to this place everyday?  Mom says i’ll look back and miss highschool… And to an extent i agree with that.  But to say i’ll miss “highschool” is too broad.  It’s vauge.  As a whole, i will not miss highschool.  I’ll miss the friends i’ve made and the fun memories i have with them.  I’ll miss the cool teachers that actully made the learning thing fun.  I’ll miss recess and lunch time and nap time and whatever.

Through the years I have learned to simply accept certain things that are in life.  As hard as some things can be, crap happens.  And sometimes all you can do is cry and try to get over it… and highschool is no different.  I accept that i have finish and i’ll live with that.  I just wish it was over already…

Anyone else feel like that?

The justice system in our country is supposed to be flawless.  As Sir Issac Newton put so wonderfully, “For every action, there is a reaction.”  The same concept can be used when it comes to the law,  “With every crime, there is a punishment.”  This is the way it should be across the country.  However, states are starting to accept a flaw within the justice system, Deferred Prosecution.  Deferred Prosecution allows criminals to not have to enter into a courtroom or step inside a jail cell.  Though this process is not illegal it is definitly wrong.  The process of Deferred Prosecution is flawed in that it gives criminals the chance for an easy way out of a crime.

Today in our world people face many problems in there daily lives.  Some struggle with stress and others with public speaking.  But one thing that has many people within our country by the neck is procrastination.  Even as I write this it’s 9:46 at night and I am tired.  And I know, lightning will probably strike me for writing in first person.  Right now, I’m just trying to think.  However, I don’t have a very good intro now and I’m trying to vent in order to think of things.  I’ve been at home all day trying to think of a good topic.  It wasn’t until about 8 that I thought of procrastination.  But then Heroes came on.  I procrastinated.  Sorry.  Procrastination is a problem that must be addressed at an early age, because if not, it can affect a person negatively throughout their entire life. Parents are always trying to get there little children to be good students in school.  Listen in class, treat the other kids nicely, and to turn it the homework on time.  Children who listen to there parent by turning in home work will most likely be a responsible student and adult in the future.  However, those kids who try to be cool and do not turn it there homework will pay the consequences.  What are those consequences?  Low grades in classes, which stem from low test scores, which affects how well your SAT’s are and what college you go to.  Procrastination may seem like a small thing but it could lead to some pretty bad things in a persons life. Procrastination is a problem within our country’s children, youth, and adults.  In the workplace, school, office, at home, the grocery store, the game store, if the people there procrastinate too much, then everything could fall.  Things would be in ruins if we all procrastinated the important things in life like house notes, incurance, car notes, electric bills, water, etc.  If we were to never pay attention to those then life would be even worse.

have you ever asked yourself “how important are my friends?”?  Have you honestly answered that question than with more than just a “Really important?”?  The friends we have now will be with us for a lifetime.  No matter how far away they move or whatever they do with there lives, we will have those friends forever.  The friends and the relasionships we have with them is something that not many know how to express.  However, Megan Peterson put it very well.  “Without friends, life would be boring.  God put people in our path to help encourage and strenthen us…  Which is what friends are supposed to do.”  The relasionship we have with our friends must be based off of a few foundation elements; Encouragement, Trust, and Compassion.  “Trust is the base for any friendship.”  This statement could not be more true.  Your friends are the ones you talk to about the serious issues in your life.  Without trust, how many friends would we all really have?  Brandon Harter agrees by saying. “My friends are ridiculously important to me.  I trust them to talk about things that may be going on in my life just like they would talk to me about certain things.”  We can’t just have friends for the sake of just “having friends”.  We are called to love all, and that includes those who are close to us.  As a friend we must care about what our friends are feeling and what they are going through.  “Personally, God calls each and every one of us to be a friend to someone, just as Christ was(is) a friend to us.”
However, there are those friends who we may see as more than “just friends”.  That guy or girl that seems to stand out above the rest.  That weird “butterfly feeling” we get every time we see them.  When is it the right time to go one step further and start a “relasionship” with someone?  Is there ever a right time?  Once again Megan comments on the subject, “Dating is very over-rated.  God will lead you to the person you’re supposed to be with.  Looking for that person is a waste of time if you’re truely living the way that God wants you to.”  A lot of people roam around from person to person on the dating scene just trying to find that special someone.  This way of living is not healthy, where as it leads to heartbreak after heartbreak, and it is not logical.  Why would you date a person you have never had a friendship with?  “I don’t feel dating is very important, especially if it isn’t based off of a great friendship.  If it doesn’t start off as a friendship then it is destined to fail.”  It would as though the key to having a good boyfriend/girlfriend relationship is God.  God will bring the two of you together as friends only for the both of you to end up together.  It starts from a strong friendship.  From that friendship, a stronger one will build as your relationship with each other grows.  From there we can say, in a sense, it’s happy ever after.  Though this sounds like a fairy tale out of Disney movie, that’s how God works.

im watching deal or no deal now.  And i dont like this show sometimes for this reason…

the host is like a deciever.  I mean, in the game you open boxes with a dollar amount of them.  all dollar amounts ranging from one cent to 1 million dollars.  The player gets to choose one cases before the game begins, hoping its the million dollar case.  The point of the game is to walk away with the million dollars.  There are “rounds” where you choose a cetain amount of cases.  Every time you choose a case there is a banker that caculates wheater or not you have the million as your case… blah blah blah, you’ve seen the show…  My point is the guy always tries to stray people away from logic.  If the highest dollar on the board amount is one million and the next highest is $25,000 and your being offered $55,000, you should take it. DEAL.  Because if you only have a 1 in 8 chance to have the million as your case, thats not much.  And then if you choose the million, your dollar amount will go below $25,000 and thats basickly nothing on this show.  The host just says stuff like “the offer is $55,000.  But theres still 1 one million dollar case left.  Thats a 1 in 26 chance to get the million!”  no! that doesn;t work.

Point.  If your ever on DEal or no DEal and you have a high offer and no risk to move on… TAKE THE DEAL.  dont risk losing something high.
